Free morning Tea
Sunset at Edwards Point Nature Conservation Reserve
On Friday, the weekend of July 12, 2013, come to St Leonards for a free guided walk and morning tea. Yes, that's right, free morning tea. Not only will you have access to pristine coastal air, the rare, untouched coastal woodlands and the gorgeous coastline of Edwards Point, but after immersing yourself in nature, there will be morning tea just waiting for you on your return.
The Heart Foundation have set up 'Green Walks in the Park'; because walking has been proven to have health benefits for the body and the mind. The program aims to get more people out walking, reaping the rewards, while enjoying each others company and our fantastic parks, beaches and walking tracks.
Come and join the Friends of Edwards Point. Meet at Beach Road car park at 10 am, for a quick introduction; then, depart at 10.15, for a 60 min walk, that will loop through Edwards Point and back out again.
