Adelaide Hills region is one of Adelaide's fruit bowls with local produce including apples, pears, cherries, strawberries, vegetables, cheese and wine. Opened last strawberry season was the
Green Valley Strawberries Cafe bringing the freshest strawberries to their customers at the farm gate sale. Running for 8 months a year from October to May, this cafe gives another reason to go for a drive to the Hills.

Green Valley's signature dish is the pressed to order waffle.
Green Valley is a proudly owned family business since 1985. The owners Jim, Lynda and their two daughters (Christie & Steph) welcome you to their farm and hope you will sit back, relax and enjoy their idea of paradise. That's why the seating area is outdoors. The main area is in the veranda. There are high benches and bar stools for those who like the view of strawberry fields.

Green Valley farm gate and cafe hours are Wednesdays to Sundays 8:30am to 4pm. Kitchen close at 3pm. Get there early if you want to try their housemade waffles and pancakes. There is ample parking space right after you enter the cafe. Due to the nature of being an outdoor cafe and in the Hills, the cafe will close early on extremely hot days or even close under catastrophic weather. Check their
Facebook page before you make the journey and remember to bring an esky for the take-home strawberries.
