Green Patch is located in Jervis Bay and is part of Booderee National Park on NSW South Coast – approximately 2.5 hours south of Sydney. It is a very popular camping ground as it has modern and immaculate facilities and amenities.
You will find the following facilities at Green Patch: male and female toilets, hot showers, fresh water, toilets for the disabled, infant changing facilities, electric hotplates and wood fireplaces. Whilst barbecues are available, it is advisable to bring along a personal gas barbecue.
The colourful birdlife, friendly kangaroos and other wildlife make this an exciting adventure for children. Please do not feed the animals and remember that no pets are allowed in the park. Between the beach and the camp ground is a shallow creek, which is also perfect for kids to explore.
The campsites are great, each are separated from neighbours by rocks and bushes so it is private. You are allocated a site number and you must camp on that site as the rangers will be around and are keen to fine anyone that deviates from the rules. There is no electricity but still hot showers are available. we were able to recharge phone etc in the baby's change-room as there was a power-point there.
