There's Thai food, and there's vegetarian Thai food. Vegetarian Thai restaurants are becoming more popular in this day and age where people are choosing the vegetable alternative to the meat. So why not try something new and head to a Thai restaurant that uses no meat products? You may actually be surprised. You can always try Green Palace in Newtown.

There are a few Vegetarian Thai restaurants in Newtown. Since recently becoming vegetarian, I've been quite vigilant in searching for places that don't use any meat products, preferably vegan, and yet still retain bountiful flavor.

I was very surprised to see that meat was replaced by 'soy meats' which is pretty much 'tofu meat'. The thought of tofu meat may sound a bit strange (even I had doubts), but it's definitely tastier than you can imagine.

Green Palace knows how to whip up a tasty vegetarian vegan dish full of flavors, and really knows how to bring out the best tastes in vegetables.
