Each day most people produce a lot of inorganic and organic waste, we think throwing it in the rubbish vanishes the item; however, rubbish only gets transported and "stored" away to prevent health risks, toxic gas inhalation and a number of other health and environmental issues.

The City of Holdfast Bay[/LINK] has put together this tour which includes: a visit to a waste transfer station, a composting facility and the factory where recycling gets sorted, also known as Material Recovery Facility.

The will take place on the 20th of April 2017, once you have booked your spot by phoning 08 8229 9999 or emailing [email protected] simply make your way to Brighton Civic Centre (24 Jetty Road, Brighton SA 5048), tour bus departs at 1030 am and returns to the same spot at 2:30pm.
