Okay, wait a minute - why is the name of this place so long?
It's simple - because it's two separate shops, combined into the one long name! Green Grass Home & Body sells unique homewares, clothing, body products, books and much more, whereas Park Bench Espresso is the espresso bar adjoined to the back of the shop; serving coffee and other goodies seven days a week. The great thing about having both a boutique shop and a cafe in the same place is that you can enjoy a well-deserved rest after shopping (which is pretty much a sport, right?), or do some relaxed browsing after filling your stomach with some good food. It's a win-win for all!
Where is Green Grass Home & Body, and Park Bench Espresso Bar?

Can you tell me more about Green Grass Home & Body?
Green Grass Home & Body started up a whopping 15 years ago in 2002; founded and owned by designer Joc Ridgway with the aim of "furnishing the lovely people of South East Queensland with beautiful home wares, clothing, jewellery, books, kids gifts, handbags, body products and a whole lot more". What food and drink is available at Park Bench Espresso?
Park Bench Espresso has an extensive range of drinks available, including of course locally roasted coffee by Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters. As for cold drinks, they have real fruit smoothies, in addition to both milkshakes (your regular flavours) and 'special' milkshakes (choose from turkish delight, snickers, bounty bar, jaffa, peanut butter & jelly, caramel latte, oreo cookie, or salted caramel) - um, can I please have them all? Otherwise, choose from a range of cold juices and soft drinks from their display cabinet, like we did.
Although Park Bench Espresso does not serve freshly made hot meals, there is a range of pre-made goodies available in the display cabinet, with the option of getting, for example, quiches, toasties, banana bread, and muffins heated up - or if you've got a sweet tooth, there are heaps of different cakes available too! Oh, and as always, don't forget to keep your eye out for any special deals they might have...
