clues while participating in a variety of challenges. There are also cash prizes involved and participants can even wear costumes for the race. You cannot participate individually, only in teams of two or as part of a family.
Those participating in the Great Urban Race in NYC must pick up their packet of information at the 79th Street Boat Basin Cafe no later than five minutes before the race start time. The race runs until 5pm, so wear comfortable shoes and be ready to be on your feet and moving around for quite awhile. Although you can use public transportation, you cannot use anything else – this includes cabs, bikes, pedicabs or any other type of private transportation.
Registration is $60 per person until August 19 at 5pm. Same day registration is possible, but the cost increases to $70 per person.
