This weekend, Trentham celebrated their annual Spudfest. The market stalls were set around the lake at the Trentham Park. There were stalls to browse and spud lunches to eat, and bags of spuds to purchase. Local wines and produce to sample and games on the lawn to play. There was something for everyone, including entertainment. For they who missed it this year, mark it in your diary for next year.



Trentham is a great town to visit at any time, home to the Redbeard Bakery, famous for their sourdough bread. They also run workshops on how to bake the great woodfired bread.


The Cosmopolitan Hotel has great meals and local wines.
Trentham it is situated in the Hepburn Shire, 22 km SW of Kyneton, 24 km E of Daylesford, 69 km NE of Ballarat and 87 km (54 mi) NW of Melbourne.
