The Great Microchip Blitz is back
Get your pet cats and dogs microchipped for only $10 at Petstock's Great Microchip Blitz on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November.
This great opportunity will be available at nine South Australian Petstock stores, ranging from Mount Gambier to Port Lincoln, and also from the Animal Welfare League's Edinburgh North Shelter.
Cats like to explore. If they get lost a microchip will facilitate their return home.
Microchipped pets that become lost have a much greater chance of being returned to their owners more quickly than those that are not microchipped. This not only reduces stress and anxiety for both owners and pets, but also decreases the enormous burden on shelters that hold lost pets and diminishes the cost to local councils and rescue organisations. So do your pets and yourself a favour and take advantage of this great opportunity.
Dogs are an important part of the family and a microchip will help to ensure their return home if they are lost.
Locations where you will be able to access $10.00 microchipping include Allenby Gardens, Burnside, Edinburgh North, Melrose Park, Mount Gambier, Munno Para, Noarlunga, Parafield, Port Lincoln and Prospect. Specific details of the location addresses and contact phone numbers can be obtained from Petstock's Great Microchip Blitz website.
Bookings can be made online at the Microchip Blitz website and early bookings are recommended to ensure you don't miss out. You can download your registration form from the website, fill it out at home and take it with you. If you are not able to do this please allow extra time before your appointment to complete the paperwork.
EFPTOS and credit card facilities will be available at Petstock stores, but if you are booked in at the Animal Welfare League or prefer to pay in cash please bring the correct money.
Dogs and cats attending the microchipping locations must be suitably and safely controlled. All dogs should be held on a short lead and dogs that are known to display fear aggression should be muzzled. Cats must be contained in suitable, secure and closed carry cages.
Petstock's Great Microchip Blitz is proudly supported by the Dog and Cat Management Board of South Australia.
Please note that this offer is only for cats and dogs and excludes livestock, horses, birds and reptiles.
