Pick up some book bargains and pick the authors’ brains
Do you have ideas for the great Australian novel swirling inside your head? Are you too a voracious reader with a pile of books bundled by your bedside for future reading?

If this is you the Redland City Council Libraries have an event that will suit you to the ground.

On Saturday the 19th of October, between 9am and noon, the Capalaba Library will be holding a sale of their preloved books with all proceeds being directed to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

If that's not enough, a selection of local authors will have their books available for purchase on the day. What a great opportunity to chat to a local who has "been there and done that" and survived the publication process. Ask your questions, look at their books, and purchase a copy or two as Christmas gifts for loved ones - signed by the author of course.
