Bill Swampy Marsh the award-winning author, songwriter, storyteller, performer and playwright is well known for his various entertaining Australian stories and songs. Although he spent most of his youth in rural south-western NSW, he now lives in Adelaide.
Over many years, Bill has travelled thousands of kilometres around Australia conducting hundreds of interviews he has recorded with the contributors to his numerous stories, whether they be great Australian outback stories about towns, pubs, teachers, flying doctors, policemen, nurses, shearers, CWA stories or funeral stories. Bill is one of ABC Books' bestselling authors of Australian stories; this is his eighteenth book.
You are invited to Burnside Library, 401 Greenhill Road, Tusmore on 10th November. 2.30 - 4.30 pm for the book launch of Bill Swampy Marsh's latest book – Great Australian Outback Trucking Stories (Ted Beggs contributor).
