Come to this Great Australian Beer Festival for a great time
One of Australia's most loved and unique beer festival is returning in Albury and this year, it is set to be even bigger and better than last year!
The event will be on Saturday 19th October 2019 from 1 pm to 8 pm at QEII Square, 538 Dean Street, Albury.
With live music from Ruby Fields, and the Potbelleez, who will be playing on the day. There will also be a selection of over 150 beer and ciders from brewers around the country, and it's guaranteed to be a great day out!
Fresh from stunning audiences during her Laneway Festival run, Sally has grabbed the #8 spot on this year's Hottest 100. As well as the current national tour in support of her new EP, Permanent Hermit, Sydney's RUBY FIELDS will headline GABF Albury this year.
The artists include the following:
RUBY FIELDS Ruby Fields will be on the stage at GABF Albury. Ruby is an average female who started busking at the age of 13 years old and then began playing at venues around Sydney. She likes being background noise.
PORTABELLEEZ The Potbelleez are one of Australia most popular and electrifying live acts. They have made their name performing on the largest festival stages worldwide, including Stereo sonic, Future Music Festival, MTV Ibiza, Global Gathering, Electric Picnic as well as club shows all around the world. The guys are known for some of the biggest dance tracks over the past few years.
They are a local 5-piece folk, pop, rock band playing a selection of music ranging from smooth and sensual to upbeat and lively.
Chris is a Wodonga musician who plays the guitar, loop pedal and a mix of covers and originals.
SPYNDRIFT This is a very quirky quintet, who plays a fascinating range of musical styles from dub-ska to circus-cabaret. Dynamic musical performance complete with eccentric tunes in weird costumery and vintage-inspired props. They have bawdy stage performances and irresistibly funky rhythms which make you activated - you will have to see them to understand!
There will be master classes in beer and food. At the time of writing this article, the 2019 program has not yet been released but stay tuned to their Facebook page to find out more in time.
FOOD The foods that will be included in this event include the following:
Boss Burger - Great burgers and fries.
Monumental Ice Cream - you will soon realise how good this ice cream is - they use local, seasonal produce which are created right here in Albury.
Spirit of Java - Traditional Indonesian BBQ street food.
Twist Potato - are deep-fried twisted potato on a stick with ten different seasonings on offer.
BEER, CIDER AND WINE From the moment you step into this beer and music lover's paradise, you will feel compelled to explore and wander through pop up bars. You will then chill out on the green lawns while savouring your way through a superb variety of hand-crafted beers and ciders and gourmet food offerings.
