The Great Australian Beer Festival is on again Sunday 2 December 2017, this time in Albury. Beer and cider lovers are in for a real treat as brewers from around the country descend upon Albury to experience first-hand what makes this a much loved and unique beer festival. The festival runs from 3pm to 10pm and promised to be a fabulous event.



The Great Australian Beer Festival - Geelong celebrated its 5th festival earlier this year (it will next be held 17 February 2018) and to date has seen over 25,000 visitors. Now it's Albury and Wodonga's turn to celebrate and hold the inaugural Great Australian Beer Festival - Albury in beautiful QE11 Square.



Step into this beer lover's paradise and wander through the many pop up bars available. Once you've made your selection, chill out on the luscious lawns while contemplating what to try next.



Brewers from all over the country will be attending to showcase their artisanal talents with a mind-boggling variety of styles sure to please even the fussiest hop-heads.

As well as the fantastic assortment of beers to sample, there will be non-stop live entertainment featuring local, national and international performers together with a selection of vaudeville, cabaret and circus-style acts within a mini Spiegel style tent.



Attend one of the free masterclasses hosted by industry experts and learn to match foods and beer. Enjoy gourmet food producers plating up a tasty selection of meals and snacks. There will be an assortment of food trucks and a massive BBQ or why not pack a picnic and pull up a rug on the lawn. Basically, everything you could possibly want or need all in one place, making for an epic day out.



General Admission tickets include admission, tasting glass and access to all features and entertainment and cost $39.50. There are also some great ticketing packages – check them out here .

Online Tickets will be available until 6am on the event day, Tickets will be available at the gate for $50, unless sold out.

So whether you prefer Belgians or Blondes, Pales or Pilsners, this will be the perfect opportunity to discover some new taste sensations.

Albury Wodonga is approximately 330km from Melbourne, 340km from Canberra and 550km from Sydney. It is located on Australia's busiest inland corridor between Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne, at the junction of the Hume Freeway (National Highway One), Olympic, Murray Valley, Riverina and Kiewa Valley Highways.
