Who can forget the sizzle that is Grease?
Do you remember the summer that you felt pretty much the same way as Sandy and Danny from Grease? When love was not only confusing but so was life in general? When things sizzled between them? When Olivia Newton John and John Travolta sang and danced, donned the leather, greased and back combed their hair and through the movie took us on their journey?

remember when?

Well it is time to share that experience again.Grease the Musical is coming to Brisbane, with an additional week's worth of shows. Originally slated for 6 weeks demand has won out and more shows have been added.

A whole new generation will be able to take part in the love affair that has spanned time and still has a lot of us remembering it from its first go round. We know the words to all the songs and have probably been to a Grease party or two and worn out a couple of videos.

And is the way of time, younger bodies are needed to fill the roles of high school students and greasers from the 50's.

Enter Gretel Scarlett and Rob Mills.

grease, the musical

Gretel is an award winning graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, with a handful of awards under her belt. She has performed in Mama Mia in not only one but 3 roles and has also appeared in Wicked the Musical. Born in 1987 she is multi-talented and a bright shining new star.

Rob Mills was one of the finalists on the first Australian Idol back in 2003. Since then he has been a busy productive fellow. He has played in Wicked the Musical, Legally Blonde - The Musical, The Arena and Hair. With numerous roles on TV he also danced his way across Dancing With the Stars. Dubbed charming by the critics he will sidle up to Gretel to share his charm with the rest of us.
