Ahoy me hearties! Time to dress up, grab your parrots and come and meet Pirate Pete and his crew of old seadogs at the annual Grantville Pirate Festival . Come along on Saturday 22nd of April between 10am to 3pm and enjoy a great day of family fun at Maru Koala and Animal Park .

This year, the festival presents ICE AGE Live on stage and you'll get the chance to meet and have your photo taken with Sid, Diego and Scrat. We hear they love a selfie.

Come dressed as your favourite pirate and you might win some treasure. There will be a booty of special pirate medals that will be presented by Sid, Diego and Scrat.

There will be lots of fun and pirate games, roving entertainers, jumping castles and face painting Or why not have a go and test your skills at Pirate Pete's mini-golf? You'll encounter several life-size pirate figures, including the one and only Captain Jack Sparrow himself.

Maybe try your hand at fishin' for gold, bobbin' for squid or try the wooden leg throwing competition. Jake the Peg won't mind as long as you give it back to him afterwards.

It will be all hands on deck for the tug of war competition and you can make someone 'walk the plank' by hitting the bullseye and sending them into the cold water.

Why not have a professional photo taken on the Princess Caribbean Pirate Ship with a real python. Then stop by and say hello to all the other animals at the park, including koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and lots more. There are plenty of opportunities to hand-feed and pat them and yes, they like selfies too.

The entry fee to the pirate festival is the same as the standard All Day Pass and all these extra activities and the live stage show are included at no extra cost. This includes all of the following:

* The official ICE AGE stage show and meet and greet the characters
