Granny Smith Memorial Park

Home > Sydney > Family | Fun for Children | Parks | Playgrounds
Published May 4th 2015
Once the location of Maria Ann "Granny" Smith's orchard, this place has for a number of years been an expansive park area dedicated to Granny Smith.

The City of Ryde council has recently revamped the playground area of the park, giving it more modern and safer play equipment. Very fittingly the play equipment has an apple theme.

The play area has two sections, an area for the big kids and another area with equipment more suitable for the smaller kids. There are tables and seats nearby for mum, dad or the grand parents to watch on as the kids have fun and play.

If you find the kids still have some energy left, then there is always the big grassed area where they can run around or play a ball game.
