Newly opened just before the 2017 New Year, Toorak welcomed Grange Road Egg Shop to the corner of Grange Rd and Toorak Rd.
From the team behind local favourites such as Denis the Menace and St Edmonds, Grange Road Egg Shop is a gorgeously fit out cafe serving up much more than simply egg-cellent fare.

Open for both breakfast and lunch, the cafe is bright, airy and casual and architecture/design buffs are certain to be impressed with the fit out alone. The menu includes a clever mix of traditional dishes and new spins on the old favourites such as Dr Marty's Crumpets with lemon ricotta, raspberries and honey or crushed avocado with black beans, goats cheese and pumpkin seeds.
We tried the Baghdad Eggs which were two fried eggs served on a pita with chilli, lebne, hummus, mint and pomegranate seeds. Certainly something different and definitely delish.

Keep some something more standard, we also tried traditional poached eggs on toast with roasted tomato and avocado (pictured below) which we put together using the 'sides' section to create a custom meal.

The service is welcoming and friendly and it's a great little spot for your next weekend brunch. Grange Road Egg Shop is open from 7am-5pm Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm on weekends.
