Eat, Play, Love, at Grandma's

The name says it all. Stepping into Grandma's Little Bakery brought a flood of scents boasting home made deliciousness. Situated on 42 O'Riordan Street, Alexandria, this unique bakery welcomes in customers 7am to 4pm, 7 days a week. If you're taking public transport, it's easiest to get off at Green Square Railway Station and walk the short distance down the road to the shop, which you can find on the corner of O'Riordan and Collins Streets.
Visitors are met with tasting tables of Grandma's home-made cookies, biscuits and other small treats, as well as an array of lollies. Greeted by friendly staff you will then be seated at its cute red polka-dot tables, with an open view of the busy Alexandria streets.
The most unique part, and what I really loved about Grandma's Little Bakery, was that it combined a restaurant, a bakery around the back, and a cafe all into one place. What's more, if there was a particularly drool-worthy bread or cake or biscuit you had, you'll be able to make it all by yourself at home because Grandma's Little Bakery will provide the recipe, and the ingredients, right from its bakery. From jams and spreads, to ice cream, olive oil, biscuits, breads, and other savoury sweets, the bakery makes it all from scratch.
Another thing I adore about Grandma's Little Bakery is the multicultural influence that makes the bakery a bit more different. I was met with Mediterranean, Greek, Italian, North African, Irish, and English influence. It was awesome, to say the least, to be able to experience all the different flavours of these parts of the world in one place.
Overall, I loved every bit of the yummy, unique, and endearingly homely experience I had at Grandma's Little Bakery. I'll make it a mission to come back for more. I might even even buy a few treats from Grandma's Shop to last the bus ride home.
