Situated on the Federal Highway overlooking Fedra Olive Farm, Grandma's at the Farm provides home cooked meals and a welcome rest stop for travellers. They provide great food and drink, clean restrooms, space to stretch your legs, gourmet food items for sale and plenty of parking.
The menu has plenty of tasty low-cost options for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the whole family. Daily specials include the soup of the day and the gourmet basket pie and the ever-changing array of homemade sweet treats.
We stopped for a light lunch on our way from Sydney to Canberra and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meals and coffee. The vegetarian Grandma's Mazal Pashtida was delicious, light and filling and the accompanying salad was fresh.
A range of regional produce including olives, oils, spices and gourmet treats are available for sale, as well as gift hampers and bakery treats. Grandma's Gourmet Basket Pie of the day was chicken and artichoke which had a tasty curried flavoured filling in the crunchy pastry dish.
