I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

We stopped for a light lunch on our way from Sydney to Canberra and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meals and coffee. The vegetarian Grandma's Mazal Pashtida was delicious, light and filling and the accompanying salad was fresh.

A range of regional produce including olives, oils, spices and gourmet treats are available for sale, as well as gift hampers and bakery treats. Grandma's Gourmet Basket Pie of the day was chicken and artichoke which had a tasty curried flavoured filling in the crunchy pastry dish.
