While food will be at the heart of the Grandeur dinner at Phillips Brook Estate in Albany, it will be a dinner with a theatrical twist.
MC and entertainer, Magnus Danger Magnus will keep the action going with his own inimitable style, part vaudeville and part cabaret.
The event on March 27 will have a steam punk vibe featuring the talents of Magnus who is a regular on the WA cabaret, burlesque and variety scene with his baritone vocals and talent for characterisation, improvisation and comedy.
Steampunk is that blend of science fiction incorporating 19th Century British Victorian industrial steam-powered machinery in a fantasy world.
Magnus has entertained audiences across Australia including appearance at Adelaide Fringe Festival, Perth Fringe World Festival, Perth's Christmas Lights ceremony, A Saucy Little Secret blues-cabaret and the Perth International Burlesque Festival and Karratha Red Earth Arts Festival.
He'll be joined by The Piano Man and piano accordion player Little Miss Squeeze Box whose repertoire ranges from couture to contemporary to keep guests entertained while they feast.
With her European heritage, Little Miss Squeeze Box, has been playing piano accordion since she was 11 and makes the most of her long legs and quirky costumes, which adds to the vibe.
Food for the evening will be just as spectacular as the entertainment with local catering company Woodfired Catering's spit and fire roasted treats along with Great Southern wine from Bunn Vineyard and Freehand Wines and gin and whiskey from the inclusive bar.
The Bunn family migrated to Albany from the UK in the late 1960s and planted grape varieties to suit the Great Southern's cool climate with Cabernet Sauvignon in 1997, followed by Shiraz in 1998 and a block of Riesling in 2017.
Their focus on growing wine grapes using bio-dynamic methods has earned them a host of awards.
Freehand Wines also has a focus on preservative free wine from biodynamic grapes grown on its Denmark vineyard, planted with classic varieties of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
The ticket price for Grandeur, of $160 includes transport from Albany, entertainment, local treats from Woodfired Catering and complimentary wine, gin and whiskey throughout the evening.
