Historical Hotel is now a contemporary dining delight
Situated in the heart of the lovely picturesque town of Healesville, sits the 130 plus-year-old historical hotel known quite classically as The Grand.
This Hotel has had a remarkable makeover in recent times and is now a popular hub for people meeting for drinks, lunch or dinner, as well as the travellers passing through and day trippers visiting Healesville.
Each Friday, the Grand host their "two hour" Happy Hour from 4pm through to 6pm, which is a popular time for locals to meet and mingle. Pots are $3 and a glass of wine is $4, with free hot snacks being provided also.
The Grand supports the local community by offering a raffle during Happy Hour to raise funds and donate to local charities in the area. The CFA, SES and HICCI have been some of the local organisations who have been assisted in recent times. The winner of the raffle receives a meat tray prepared by a local butcher, with second and third drawn ticket holders receiving a bottle of wine each.
