The St Columba's Primary Great Fete is a party not to be missed. Two years of preparation and planning, countless hours of volunteer work by parents working in small groups and stepping up for designated positions, as well as generous support from local businesses have set the scene for a hugely successful day. As stated by fete coordinator Desley Rostron , "The response to requests for help, be it foot soldiers, raffle ticket sellers, stall holders or steering committee members of the fete has been overwhelming."


Deliciously fresh homemade cakes, biscuits and slices, made with love in our family kitchens, will be on for sale .Come early so you are not disappointed, this is one of the traditional favourite stalls and sells out quickly.

St Columba's own Condiment Queen – Formerly know as Marjorie's Country Kitchen will be there again this year, with her Pear, Ginger and Chocolate Conserve , just one of the delectable flavours that ensure Marjorie's conserves, jams and relishes disappear quickly at every fete. This year there is new Christmas craft stall with decorations, and an amazing chalkboard wreath and sensational advent calendar.


A visit to the fete is not complete without a few turns on these great rides. With the support of Councillor Vicki Howard (Central) and Councillor Fiona King (Marchant) ensuring the rides are the best yet.

Rides abound for both the big kids and littlies. Kids get an all-you-can-ride wristband for $30(pre-fete day), $35 for an all-you-can-ride wristband (fete day) or $5 per ride. Please note, rides' closing time is 3.30pm. New to this Year ; Dogems and The Dominator A twist on the Wet n Wild's Wipeout , Minimum height of 1.2m tall suitable to children 8yrs and older. Radio 96.5 FM broadcasting live from the school oval from 10am


Need a quiet break? Relax at the outdoor tables of Cafe Columba while the kids play in the fenced Prep Precinct playground. For those wanting a healthier option, come and visit the Hall Kitchen for some mouthwatering Sushi and Salads -sponsored by Jetts Fitness Grange. Our Gold Sponsor – Alistair Macmillan of Ray White Wilston will be our auctioneer of the day. Major prizes have been generously donated by many businesses and offer a fantastic array for fete visitors to win, including a three-night getaway to Hamilton Island, two night's accommodation at the African Cottages in Maleny, an Apple iPad Air Cellular 128GB donated by Robert Cavallucci MP and pearl necklace and matching earrings from Panda Pearls.
