The Glen Waverley Uniting Church 's is so much fun, you barely realise it's a fundraiser to help so many. All proceeds from the fete support local and overseas community projects, and no salaries, wages or gratuities are taken for the church, from the fete proceeds.

For a day of family fun and frivolity, head to 10 Bogong Avenue (cnr Kingsway & Bogong Ave), Glen Waverley on Saturday 20 October 2018 from 8.30am to 2pm. Fully manned by church friends all pulling together for a good cause, grab some amazing bargains ranging from collectables, toys and don't we love browsing through pre-loved book bargains and clothing, trash and treasure, plants and more. This is the time to buy all your homemade jams and cakes that you usually find at a fete.

For your entertainment, there'll be a jazz band, a wide range of food, Devonshire teas, a free animal farm and bowling alley, fresh fairy floss, a sausage sizzle, face painting and a whole lot more.

If you happen to be having a spring clean or need to minimise, reduce clutter or live simply, your donations would be most welcome at the church, so drop it off on Friday 19 October, during the day until 7pm thanks. Items to donate may include, books, plants, toys, household items, small furniture items, small electrical items in working order, pre-loved clothing in good condition. No mattresses, large furniture items or unsaleable items.
