Start the day with coffee and end it with Champagne
Do you enjoy a nice glass of bubbly? Are you a Champagne Connoisseur? Well do not miss this grand event dedicated to the sparkling greatness, that is Champagne.
Held on Tuesday November 24 (Yes a school night), you'll be guided through a series of tastings matched with divine canapes, whilst exploring France's finest Champagnes. Magnifique! Now I don't know about you, but there's something about Champagne that always makes me feel a little suave. Yes it could quite possibly be the French flair, but it's also the simple satisfaction one feels when opening a bottle of Champagne with friends; sitting back and enjoying a night filled with laughter and lots of random chit-chat. You know what I mean? So why wait til the weekend? Ease your midweek work woes and mix it up a bit! This is honestly a great excuse to catch-up with friends and partners, whilst learning about Champagne simultaneously. Très chic!
If you know your Champers, then you'll be familiar with reputable labels, such as Champagne Jacquinot, Gosset, Champagne Jacquesson, Champagne Taittinger, Dom Perignon, Louis Roederer, Champagne Autreau, Krug, Egly-Ouriet, Champagne Deutz and Champagne Drappier. If you're not a big drinker, then this may be a great time to familiarize yourself with some of the worlds most renowned brands. P.s - You may want to get a Berocca ready for the next morning. Hangovers can be mighty painful at work.
The price per person is quite steep at $200. However, considering the evening that's on offer, it's definitely worth it. Be prepared for a classy night filled with great company, knowledgable hosts, and an overall opulent experience. Salut!
