Western District Wine & Food Fest
It's on again, the great Grampians Grape Escape, a wine, food & music festival celebrating some of the fabulous wines and produce found in and around Victoria's beautiful Grampians District.
The Grampians are one of Australia's iconic tourism destinations but they're also at the centre of one of the nations premier wine producing regions. Photo: Ian Gill / Footloose PhotoBank
The 2018 event will be staged over the weekend of Saturday & Sunday the 5th and 6th of May at the Halls Gap Recreation Reserve surrounded by stunning views, nature and heaps of wildlife.
Get your family and friends together and head on out to Halls Gap and the festival village where 120 stalls will showcase wine, beer & cider and a veritable feast of fine food over the two days.
There'll be live music ranging from folk songs to bluegrass and everything in between to keep festival goers entertained. And there'll be plenty to keep the kids occupied, including opportunities to interact with native wildlife, paint a boomerang or test their skills on a rock climbing wall.
The Grampians Grape Escape is a great opportunity to taste test the very best artisan wine and food to be found in western Victoria.
The festival will include a number of ticketed workshops, including Chocolate and Wine pairing, Beer and Meat pairing, cooking up a Duck Terrine with chef Matt Sinclair and DIY Natural Skincare with Rebecca Sullivan. Ticket upgrades cost $49 for each workshop.
Grampians Grape Escape village at Halls Gap will be home to 120 stalls showcasing wine, beer & cider along with an incredible selection of local produce.
