Only it's on purpose.
And it's not just cringeworthy-amusing; it's actually completely uproarious.
Graeme of Thrones was an hour of my life I'll never regret giving up.
From the stop and start production (Graeme interrupts the show a little bit to talk to the 'investors' in the audience) to the most audience involvement possible in "special effects", this is non-stop, side holding, wallow in TV geekery celebration.
The exploration of the 'proper' actors in the piece will resonate with anyone who has ever had anything to do with amateur theatre while the perspective given to the boar that kills King Robert is just about the most disturbingly funny disaster of an interpretive piece you'll ever witness.
A sound knowledge of Game of Thrones is certainly helpful to fully enjoying this offering. Especially during the golden moments when Graeme plays two characters at once, (because, you know, actors are expensive) and as Viserys Targaryen tries to convince Daenerys that marrying Khal Drogo will be fine because; "you like horses and he likes horses."
However, if you're new to the phenomenon, you'll still be highly entertained.
I had cheek cramp from laughing.
