Grace Art Events offers weekly life drawing sessions that provide a stimulating and supportive environment for artists of all skill levels – from beginners to professionals.
With a diverse line up of models, these sessions are sure to inspire anyone interested in exploring their artistic creativity. The weekly life drawing classes alternate on a fortnightly rotation between traditional nude sessions and vaudeville costumed events.
Some examples of recent costumed events include Stuart the Builder, Genevieve posing Fresh French, Foxie Hart in Vintage Loveliness and Miss Eva Vivacia posing in Native American Indian costume.
The group is untutored but very supportive and inclusive. Artists of all levels are welcome and the group generally shares tips about using different media and methods with each other. Beginners are able to learn at their own pace. You must bring your own drawing materials. Butchers paper and pastels are available (no oils or acrylics, please).
Sessions are held every Wednesday from 7-9pm at Kurilpa Hall, 174 Boundary St, West End.
