The term "food court" is not usually associated with class, but at No 1 Martin Place, a classy food court is what you will find.
Located in the basement of the restored post office building at No 1 Martin Place is GPO, an upmarket food hall.
After a busy day at work or shopping in the CBD, GPO is a great place to wind down with friends. There are a range of options including casual dining, cafes and restaurants. You're likely to find something there whether it's a snack, a meal or just a drink you are after.
The GPO Food Court also covers a wide range of cuisines. You can enjoy Japanese at Sosumi, a classy sushi train or Italian at GPO Pizza. There's also Greek/Mediterranean options at Subterranean Bar & Grill.
If it's seafood you're after try GPO Oyster Bar where you'll find a range of seafood options.
Or if it's cheese and wine you're after, stop by the GPO Cheese and Wine Room.
You might prefer a more formal, sit down dinner and in which case there are several options to choose from. There's Prime - a highly awarded steak restaurant, Intermezzo - fine dining Italian and Postales - a Spanish restaurant and tapas bar.
If you're only stopping by for drinks, there are four different bars to choose from - Crystal Bar, Sports Bar, Coach Bar and Postales Bar.
