Explore the property & tour this fascinating historical home
Have you always wondered what it was like behind the gates at Government House? On September 24th, visitors will get the chance to have a walk through the property between 11am - 2pm and take a tour of the house and picnic on the lawns. The Open Day coincides with the 125th anniversary of Government House's construction. The Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove will host the day, so the public can also enjoy this beautiful property and gardens in bloom.

There will be a sausage sizzle run by the local SES personnel, as well as a cake stall and a tea and coffee stand.

Public parking will be available along Dunrossil Drive. Please note, visitors may need to submit to a bag search at the gate.
