The Cheese Maker is pleased to be presenting one of their most popular classes this Winter in their fabulous new venue in Swan Valley Central.

The 'Gourmet Delights Cheese Making Course' explores traditional cheese making methods using wholesome ingredients. This is a special opportunity to learn how you can make white camembert, blue camembert, cream cheese, quark and mascarpone in the comfort of your home.

Held in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, this interactive course is ideal for all cheese lovers. Discover the science behind transforming fresh cow's milk into a soft rinded cheese wheel of creamy, gooey camembert goodness!

Under the guidance of friendly and engaging instructors, you will learn how to 'design' your own cheese to your taste. From mild to strongly veined, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to experiment and impress your guests at your next dinner party!

Imagine serving up an entree of fresh pasta, glistening in a meld of creamy camembert cheese with crisp bacon, or soft pillows of fresh gnocchi, swimming in a blue camembert cream sauce, infused with confit garlic, crispy sage and roasted walnuts. Take your cheese board to the next level with artisan made camembert, generously wrapped in filo and baked 'til crispy, flaky and golden - the hot gooey goodness is sure to delight all! Or perhaps patiently wait for your cheeses to ripen slightly and serve with a side of sweet muscatels, accompanied by a glass of chilled Verdelho!

Your dips, spreads, tiramisu and cheesecakes will also reach a decadent new Masterchef level. And it is preservative free and made just how you like it - not to mention the enormous cost savings by making it all at home!

Take part in this wonderful course and start your own cheese adventure! Held on Saturday 30th of June, 2018 from 10am to 4pm, you will:

  • Learn how to make white camembert, blue camembert, cream cheese, quark and mascarpone

  • Discover the science behind turning milk into cheese - from milk to cultures and sanitation, and how to prevent common mistakes made in home cheese making

  • Identify and source the specific equipment and ingredients you need to make more cheese at home

    As part of the workshop experience, you will:

  • Enjoy morning and afternoon tea, lots of yummy tastings throughout the day and a delicious lunch with a glass of chilled wine. Expect to have a few great belly laughs with your new friends!
