A mum of three, engineer, scientist, educator, and all around dabbler, I'm far better at finding interesting things to do than I am at doing housework.

Do your kids love creepy crawlies? Are they keen environmentalists? Would you like them to be?
If the answer to any of the above questions was yes, or even maybe, then the Gould League Family Fun Day on the 16th of March is for you!

The Gould League is celebrating its 105th anniversary as an environmental education group, and to mark the event they are holding a family fun day full of activities that the kids won't even notice are educational! The day is being held at their Sustainability Education centre in Moorabbin, which is home to the Incredible Shrinking Machine, as well as wetlands and gardens full of fascinating mini-beasts. Kids love this place.

Incredible! It's a shrinking machine!
