If you have ever wanted to see a ghost or a friendly spirit then this is your chance. The City of Gosnells will host Ghost Walks , on a 5.5km moonlit track, along some of the spookiest walking trails from the Victoria Dam to the Bickley Reservoir.



The friendly guides will lead you along this eerie trail and entertain you with amazing tales of life in the 1850's. Hear tales about the rich history of the area including the old Mason and Bird Timber Mill. Follow in the footsteps of people who walked these very same tracks hundreds of years ago.

The Ghost Walks are social and fun and will run every Friday closest to the full moon each month. Starting on Friday 5th October, 2012 and running until Friday 1st March, 2013, the Ghost Walks take approximately three hours to complete and are suitable for all ages. The Ghost Walks begin at Hardinge Park Picnic Area in Orange Grove and not only provide the chance to meet a ghost but to hear the stories of bush characters and take in the wonderful bush scenery. There is a lot of walking involved so it is an ideal event for the moderately fit, individuals and families.

These popular Ghost Walks leave at 7pm, 7.15pm 7.30pm and 7.45pm each Friday evening. The guided walks offer a unique mix of history and entertainment that will be enjoyed by all and at the end of the Ghost Walk there is a delicious supper provided by the Maddington Scout Group.

Bookings are essential and tickets are available from the City of Gosnells Leisure Services by ringing 9397 3111.

Tickets cost $16.50 for adults, $10.50 for children and $43.50 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
