Vegetarians will be spoiled for choice
To get to Gopal's Vegetarian Restaurant, you have to look out for the small entrance up to the restaurant on the first floor. Once you get there it's a smorgasbord of some of the best vegetarian food in the CBD.

[ADVERT]It may look like an American school cafeteria tray system but once you get used to it it's quite efficient.

As a meat eater I was very satisfied with the amount of food and price you pay for the specials. It's an entree, dinner and dessert all in one. You will be stuffed by the end for under $12. There's also salads, soup and lassi as part of the specials.

The staff are super friendly and there are sometimes Hare Krishnas dancing and singing outside but they never disrupt the customers.

They do have odd opening times so make sure you check in advance.

I recommend the kofta balls and the tofu steak. Yummo.
