is a family-owned business recently opened in December 2013. There is much to distinguish it from other wildlife parks. The peace and tranquillity of the location, the friendliness of the owners and the sociable animals that enjoy interacting with children, will bring visitors back again and again. Children can walk into the pens of chickens, lambs, rabbits and guinea pigs and pat them. Emus and goats come up to the fence to say hello. The kiosk has both animal feed and people food.

The animals are friendly, inquisitive and cuddly. The guinea pigs and baby rabbits captured my heart. The children loved feeding the lambs, chickens and pig to name a few.

Listen for the bell and you will know it is time to head for the train for a jaunt around the paddock spotting kangaroos.

is instrumental in saving animals that might not otherwise survive. This little joey now has every chance of growing to maturity and joining the other wallabies in the paddock.

The pony rides were also a hit. Pixie the pony is friendly and gentle enough for first time riders.

The big playground is full of natural materials for running and jumping, balancing and chalk drawing. The playground enclosure also features a safe baby play area and shaded picnic tables. The care and nurture Alan and Caroline display towards their animals and guests is evident in many small details. They have a simple mission statement - to develop a family friendly haven where young and old can safely relax and enjoy some quality time together - which certainly sums up our family outing experience.

The Musical Garden was a delightful side track. Cricket balls and pipes have been cleverly repurposed to create music as you enjoy the gardens.

Not sure where to go next? Ask Dan the gnome, and he will point you in the right direction.

From Saturday the 21st of June 2014 the old train carriage will be open for China tea and coffee. There are lovely views of the farm from the carriage.

is an ideal setting to bring the family, hold a birthday party or visit for a school excursion. There are plans afoot for new attractions for Easter.

Wander around the peaceful grounds, say hello to the wildlife, feed and pat the farm animals, play in the playground and maybe take a pony or train ride. Smell the country air, relax and enjoy some time together. It is a wonderful day out for everyone!
