From Director and Writer Hallie Meyers-Shyer, Goodrich stars Michael Keaton, Mila Kunis, Carmen Ejogo, Michael Urie, Kevin Pollak, Vivien Lyra Blair, Nico Hiraga, Danny Deferrari, Laura Benanti and Andie MacDowell. When Andy Goodrich's wife and mother of their 9-year-old twins enters a 90-day rehab program, he's left on his own with their young kids. His life upended and thrust into the world of modern parenthood, Goodrich calls on his daughter Grace from his first marriage for help, as he ultimately evolves into the father Grace never had, and always wanted. At 111 minutes long and rated 'M', the film will be in cinemas on 21 November 2024.

Goodrich centres on the complex dynamics within a family. A father who was never present for his daughter from his first marriage - now trying to be the dad she always wanted for his twins from his second marriage, when he suddenly finds himself single parenting while trying to run an art gallery. He's just been thrown off his axis completely, and each passing day brings him the realisation as to how much he never paid attention to the most important people in his life. His first daughter now about to be a mother herself, gives a helping hand, but it only brings her closer to the flame that continues to burn within her. Her father is evolving before her eyes, but it brings her great sorrow and heartache for the child within - herself, the little girl who ached for her father but never got him. This is a coming-of-age at any age story, set during the holiday season in Los Angeles. A season that puts the spotlight on family and togetherness.

The focus here is on Andy Goodrich, and this comedy/drama tests and explores its lead character played by the incomparable Michael Keaton. It showcases both his loveable qualities and his flaws, as he grapples with the universe changing his course both personally and professionally. Kunis is just as powerful as she plays the daughter who has stayed silent for too long and finally holds her father to repentance. They both hold the film together, their dynamics solid, as they play their parts, seamlessly navigating their emotions amidst great love, regret, realisation and heartache. Keaton still has the power to make you smile, feel joy, and bring you to tears, with Kunis doing her fair share to add to the tsunami of emotions this film surprisingly wrenches from you. Be pleasantly surprised by the film which just might be the kind of holiday movie you are going to love.
