Start your Saturday with a bang (or even a burpee)
Set your alarms and resist the weekend temptation to press snooze on Saturday 24th October for a morning well spent at the annual Goodlife Wellness Festival. The festival kicks off in Musgrave Park, West End at 9am and will see Australia's largest joint group workout take place. Returning for a third year, the Goodlife Wellness Festival is a great initiative that has seen many Australians getting up and kicking butt!
The wellness festival runs throughout Australia with other locations also hosting a morning workout including the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth & Adelaide.
Put your active wear to good use and have some fun while doing it. So how much would a morning workout set you back? Well, here's the best part! It's free!! After your workout you can even hang around for some post workout nourishment and entertainment with fresh food and market stalls, pop up shops and a wide variety of exclusive discounts from Brooks, Lorna Jane, Flush Fitness, Jeanswest, InBody, Whole Kids and much much more. There are great prizes up for grabs on the day including a trip to Bali valued at $4,000. Now before you think of an excuse as to why you cannot come, the festival is open to anyone and everyone…for all ages and fitness levels, from beginners to those more advanced. You don't need to be a Goodlife member either to take part so everyone can start their Saturday morning with a bang (or maybe even a burpee!).
As an additional bonus, to celebrate the festival, in all Goodlife clubs across the country from the the 24th until the 28th October, non-members can visit their local Goodlife gym and get free access to group fitness classes, fitness challenges, pop-up shops and even health consultations. So remember to mark Saturday 24th in your diary - with summer just around the corner and the beautiful sunshine we have, why not spend your Saturday getting out and about. Switch your hangover for sneakers and come on down to Musgrave Park. Enjoy a little bit of fun, fitness and frivolity while helping your heart, your hips and be a healthier, happier you!
