Thank you and good-night to Annerley's Handmade Emporium
After 3 years of trade, Handmade High Street will be closing the doors of the successful gift store as the owners move interstate. To help celebrate Christmas, the store's third birthday and the end of an era, there will be a small celebration at the store on 11th December. Head along for some drinks and nibbles, special Christmas sales and a fun and festive atmosphere.
The store began as a co-op for handmade artisans with each crafter paying a small portion of rent to display their goods in store. Over time, the shop grew and the range expanded to include indie designer goods as well as housing a Gallery Exhibition space for visual artists. Many opening nights, workshops and other special events have happened between the walls of Handmade High Street over the years and those memories will live on with fabric store Voodoo Rabbit moving in next year.
The shop will close permanently in mid-January so if you're unable to make it to this special event, you can still come along to get your Christmas shopping done and indulge in some special purchases for yourself.
