"It is with deep regret that the organisers of Good Saturday announce that this year’s event, scheduled for Saturday March 31, will not be going ahead," the statement reads.

"Due to circumstances beyond the organisers control we are unable to proceed with this show. It's not a decision any of us have taken lightly, and we apologise sincerely for any inconvenience caused.

"Refunds will be available via Oztix, who will contact ticket holders directly."

Easter just got even better
As if Easter wasn't sweet enough already, it's set to get even better for Sydney with the inaugural Good Saturday Festival rolling in to town on Saturday 31st March. Not only do we get an extra long weekend and four guilt-free days to stuff our faces with Easter eggs and hot cross buns, we now get a whole day of awesome live music to boot.

The success of the Bad Friday Festival over the past eight years has spawned a new festival aimed at a more mature, but no less enthusiastic, audience of music lovers. I like to think of Good Saturday as kind of like a really cool older brother to Bad Friday, one who lets you hang out with him and muck around on his guitars.

Imaginary cool older brothers aside, there is a lot to love about the impressive lineup. Headlining the event will be some awesome Australian music legends who require no introduction - You Am I, Something for Kate, Augie March and singer-songwriter Jen Cloher. Does it get any better than this? The answer is NO, it definitely does not.
