The Good Neighbour Gardens are located in North Brighton.
It is a small park area containing children's play equipment, which is of the safest and highest standards having been just installed. Wide open lawn areas are kept immaculate by the local council. It is a beautiful little inner suburban escape, with large overhanging trees, freshly cut grass and the inviting scent of flower beds.
The garden was created in the 1970s through a joint initiative of the local community and council. It is a testament to the spirit of the suburbs and surrounding community. On a warm day it is inviting, stretching out under a tree with a good book or taking the footy down to have a leg.
The Good Neighbour Gardens are a treat for local residents and are an example of a lovely little refuge in suburban Adelaide.
