The multiple awards that this home of modern organic pizzas in Hutt Street has accumulated over the last seven years are well-deserved. Despite its popularity (we had to vacate our table at 8 pm for the second sitting) Good Life still offers a winning formula. Fresh organic ingredients sourced locally, cooked in a wood-fired oven and enjoyed in a crumbling heritage bluestone building, the Good Life offers an authentic dining experience.
The winning pizzas at our table were the free range roasted duck with shitake mushrooms and ginger jam, and the oven roasted chicken with baby roasted potatoes, garlic, rosemary and mild parmesan. These were enjoyed with a BYO bottle of tempranillo - although GoodLife offers a decent wine list with plenty of wines by the glass. Vegetarians are well catered for and Good Life offers healthy food that that kids will enjoy too. The Barossa Valley double smoked bacon and the Margarita were voted tops by our younger diners. We were looking forward to enjoying the Adelaide Hills caramelised apples dessert pizza that had been recommended but alas our time was up.
