Fish, Seafood and More

The Sydney Fish Market is one of Sydney's iconic attractions and sees thousands of visitors through its doors every week. It is the second largest fish market in the Southern Hemisphere; it provides fish and seafood to take home to cook but also to enjoy at the market as many stalls have a restaurant and places to eat.

Over Easter, a traditional time to eat fish, the Sydney Fish market will have extended hours to allow you to purchase the freshest fish or to enjoy some fish, prawns, calamari and other seafood during the day. What could be better than to go to the market, get the freshest fish to cook at home and stop to have a snack or lunch of delicious calamari, prawns or any of the delicious fish and seafood delicacies on offer?

The Sydney Fish Market will have extended hours on Good Friday from 5 am to 5 pm. You can check out all the events they hold such as cooking classes and information about sellers and sustainability practices here.
