For those of you who love the friendship of food and a good old bottle of wine standing tall among your dinner plates, Good Food & Wine Festival is the event to watch out for. The shiny swirl of the wine inside the slippery curvaceous body of the glass is a dance in progression. And as the wine makes its way into the mouth, it lays out a red carpet to welcome the accompanying food. This festival raises a toast to this alliance between the platter of food and a glass of vin de table.





There will be a host of celebrity chefs, leading wine experts and Maître Fromagers to lead you on a flavorful journey at the festival. To name a few - watch out for worldclass chefs like Alastair Mcleod and Gary Mehigan passing on their master tip at the Good Food Theatre; taste and sample wines in a masterclass under the tutelage of Dan Murphy's Peter Nixon ; get swept off your feet by the milky decadence at Tucker's Natural Cheese Alley while also bagging advices from Nick Haddow at the cheese masterclass. The story does not end here. Enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to taste an assortment of beers under the guidance of the Beer Diva, Kirrily Waldhorn (this session is priced at $15 over the general entry fees). Special classes on fermentation will provide lessons in creating fermented foods at home.



Hungry for more, treat your appetite with some organic street food at the Grazing Garden. At the Artisan Square, locally produced artisan goodies will present you with an exhaustive experience.
