If you're bummed that you missed out on the Trailer Park at Village Melbourne in August and September, chin up!

November marks The Age's Good Food Month and as part of the events, the Trailer Park will make a glorious return for one whole week! If you're unfamiliar with the event, Village Melbourne held a Trailer Park each weekend, as a spot for rotating food trucks.



They rotated the food trucks each weekend - however for this special event, they will be changing trucks every day! I didn't even know Melbourne had that many food trucks, but that's the joy of these types of events. Melbourne continues to expose you to its festive culture, and you are always discovering new things.

Village Melbourne is a great venue for the festivities. When I last went during September, the place was lively and a nice little place to sit down with your friends for a bite.



The tables are under umbrellas and there are outdoor heaters as it's usually chilly at night. To the side, there's a bar where you can order drinks, or soft drinks if you prefer, and the trees are draped with fairy lights to ensure a picturesque outdoor dining area.



I happened to enjoy some souvlaki from Souvlaki Cart, green curry from White Guy Cooks Thai, german sausages from Mutter Krause and some banana and strawberry crepes from Rue de Creperie. You can pretty much try a little from each place if you're up for it!



Trailer Park have just released their full program, which can be found below. It includes exciting trucks, old and new, such as Gumbo Truck (New Orleans-inspired food), The Brulee Cart (self-explanatory) and Lil Nom Nom's (Vietnamese-inspired street food).

Instead of only serving on the weekend, they will serve lunch 11am-3pm Mon-Thurs, and 12-8pm on Fri, Sat & Sun.



Personally, I am eager to try Beatbox Kitchen (burgers), as last time I unexpectedly found them on a street, they were already closing and I've heard lots about them! Don't miss out on some amazing food trucks, all in one spot!
