The abundance of options are simply overwhelming, so here's a quick round up of the best events to help organise your Good Food Month agenda!
Night Noodle Markets in South Bank's Cultural Forecourt
Slide into the prohibition era this Good Food Month with Next Door's cider and slider deal. Enjoy a slow-cooked beef brisket slider with tempura shrimp, slaw, haloumi and pickles accompanied by a glass of cider for just $10.
Locals, photographers and food bloggers are invited to enter a photography exhibition with a focus on chefs, bartenders and home cooks. Entry into the competition is free and the winner will receive $500!
Settle in by the fireplace and pair a Sweet White Lady, a cheeky mix of Tanqueray gin, Cointreau, lemon, egg whites and syrup, with a Naked Pop ice cream at Cowch. It's an after dinner treat worth braving the chill for.
Duck into the Pineapple Hotel during Good Food Month
Three of Australia's top chefs, Ben Shewry (Attica), James Viles (Biota Dining) and Josue Lopez (GOMA) will discuss their interpretation of Australian cuisine with 612 ABC radio presenter Tim Cox. Don't miss your chance to mingle with the masters of modern cooking!
Enjoy a Good Dinner for under $30 at South Bank's Spaghetti House Trattoria. Indulge in two courses of rustic, Italian cuisine, including bruschetta with onion jam and mozzarella, and spaghetti cooked with prawns and crabs.
