The Good Food and Wine Show is an annual event, and like Melbourne and Brisbane, Sydney has caught on to this gastronomic bug that never goes away. Save your grocery shopping for the weekend of the 28th to the 30th of June for this annual event, similar to MasterChef LIVE. You're in good hands, because this event is sponsored by Citibank, who also bring you the Vivid Sydney Pop-Up bar, as well as the Crave International Food Festival to name.

A variety of different food exhibitors from caviar to chocolate will be on display, as well as wine and coffee from well over 300 food producers and manufacturers. Exhibitors at the Sydney show include Tucker's Natural Cheese Alley, Pana Chocolates and Nespresso to only name a few. Come here hungry, and there's your lunch at different display areas. Samples include pasta, caviar, chocolate, coffee, wine, sliders burgers, cheese, ice cream and dips to name. There are also ample opportunities to take items home, usually at discounted prices, and a diverse array of organic produce is also available with some jam packed value foodie bags on sale.

Cooking demonstrations as well as opportunities to learn more about food and food/cooking equipment, from cooking tips to time savers in the kitchen will also be seen. If you love cooking and you love food (well if you don't, you would not have read this far), then this annual MasterChef inspired festival is for you.

The celebrity theatre makes a come back, for the best value at the show with a general entry ticket ($33 for adults, $27 concession), then why not book in for a celebrity cooking demonstration? You need to book ahead to get the best seats, or wing it on the day, yet if you do the latter, you may not get the best views.

Maggie Beer is one celebrity who makes an appearance this year in the celebrity theatre. Otherwise, you can always catch up with Maggie at the Yalumba Y Series Restaurant, or any of the celebrity chefs present at the chopping block displays. Nespresso (another exhibitor at the show) will also take some foodies in attendance to the world of coffee, where the world of 4 Grand Cru coffees will also be explored. Celebrity chef book signings are also available at the Dymocks stand.

This event will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 28th to the 30th of June 2013. Hours are from 10am to 6pm on the Friday and Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on the Sunday.

Full exhibition lists, floor plans, and further details on what is in each VIP package can be found on the Good Food and Wine show website.
