Gong Cha is a tea place in the city. It started in Malaysia and now it has landed in Melbourne. There are a few stores all over the world

I went on opening day and they offered a special of buy one drink, get one free. I went with my friend and he got the free one.

The lines there were huge. We had to wait about half an hour as the shop is so small. At the time there were only three people working that day.

Like any other tea place, you can choose your flavours and you can add pearls for about $0.50- $1 for each topping.

The tea is not too sweet, unlike other places. I had the signature drink and they used a milk froth on top as part of their signature series. I had paid just over $5 for my drink.

In short: it is worth waiting in the line for a good iced tea.
