The Redland Museum is the home of local antiques, old farm machinery and military memorabilia that tells the stories of the pioneers of South East Queensland's Redlands region. Situated in the bayside suburb of Cleveland, the museum specialises in preserving the social history of the Redlands from 1842 to the present day. It consists of over 14,000 items presented on 2700 square metres of floor area, which means there is something to capture everyone's interest.

On Sunday, 29th of July, the museum will be hosting an afternoon of music performed by the Redland Sinfonia, which can be enjoyed whilst indulging in a delicious Devonshire Tea. Believe me, the museum bakers are renowned for their jam, scones and cream!

The Redland Sinfonia is an orchestra of 40 plus local musicians who perform classical, jazz, and contemporary music, as well as that known as soundtracks of much-loved movies.

Their performance, Gone To Pieces, commences at 2pm and finishes at 4pm. However, the afternoon finishes at 5pm which allows time to view the latest exhibitions and have a wander around the attractions.

Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase and ticket prices include Afternoon Tea.

Bookings are essential. Go here or contact 3286 3494.
Members: $20.00
Non Members: $25.00

Redland Museum has both off-street and street parking and is located on Smith Street, Cleveland, just down from the high school and on the border of the showgrounds.
