Do you know that Central Queensland has a great diversity of mangroves? Being in a tropical climate, Central Queensland has about 16 species of mangrove, more than 'down south'. Gondwana Surveys is an education consultant and eco-tourist agent that provide educational and entertaining content, focusing on showcasing the native flora and fauna.

If you are fascinated about mangroves and want to know more about them, Gondwana Surveys with Ben Timmings and Dr Mike Olsen will show you how to determine the role of mangroves in the landscape using the beta version of the Key of Mangroves, especially for Central Queensland.

This half-day workshop will be located in the Yeppoon area on Tuesday 13 September 2022. The cost will be $50 and half price for students, pensioners and members of Native Plant Capriconia.
