Would you like to take a ride in my Gondola?
Creating a unique and memorable experience with loved ones can be challenging. People are busy with work, kids, and school. Time is of the essence, and there's never enough of it. If you're looking for a break from the race of life, a unique experience in the heart of our wonderful city of Perth, then look no further than Gondolas on the Swan.
Gondolas on the Swan has been in operation for many years and now has a permanent home at Perth's latest development, Elizabeth Quay.
As you make your way to the quay, the Gondola will soon catch your eye. It's long sleek and slender design is an impressive sight to behold. The Venetian inspired vessel was handcrafted in Western Australia and has incorporated the iconic black swan into the design. The attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship of the gondola captures the eyes of people passing through. Many people stop to take a few photos of the gondola and when you see if for yourself you will understand why!
I made my way down to the gondola where I met Alan the Gondolier. He welcomed me on board with a smile, and we went on our way. We pulled away from the docking area, and the cruise began. Alan triggered the mandolin music, and I was taken to a different place. We cruised around the river taking in the city from a different perspective. There were beautiful water birds to observe and admire. We passed by one of the entertainment venues, and every head turned to see the gondola in action. We made the loop back towards the city and cruised around for a little bit longer. The arches of the pedestrian bridge and the cityscape was a beautiful sight to behold.
The 15-minute cruise ($15 per person $10 for children) was a great experience. This service is ideal for families who want to do something fun and is a great way for them to make memories together. The gondola seats up to 8 passengers so families both large and small can enjoy a ride together. I believe that families that play together stay together!
Budding couples who want to go out for a date in the city can also enjoy the 15-minute cruise. There are a few places to eat at Elizabeth Quay and combining food with a gondola cruise makes for a great date idea.
Gondolas on the Swan also has a one-hour cruise service. This service is ideal for couples who want exclusive use of the Gondola to celebrate a special occasion. It is perfect for a romantic proposal or to celebrate an anniversary. Some of the one-hour cruise packages come with champaign and chocolates adding another special touch to the experience.
Perth is making major headway regarding things to do and see in the city thanks to companies like Gondolas on the Swan. Gondolas on the Swan is an excellent example of creativity and entrepreneurship bringing a quality service to the people of Perth.
In our busy lives where time is limited, creating experiences where families, friends and loved ones can pause and appreciate the moment together, free of distractions, are crucial to maintaining strong bonds. You can find this experience at Gondolas on the Swan.
