There will be some fabulous design pieces of all types here
To market, to market, to buy a fat pig - no it is not that sort of market, actually. This is everyone's favourite market but sorry, no pigs!

This market will be held on 8th June 2019 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. It will be held at the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art, Stanley Place, South Brisbane. At GOMA. there is also a restaurant and cafes. You will have a choice where to eat, or perhaps, you just want coffee and cake after browsing through all these markets! You could have lunch by the river right through to elegant modern dining.

There will be some of Brisbane's best market stall vendors. At the GOMA forecourt, there will be things such as the following:

Handmade ceramics

And all this is from Brisbane's best makers such as:

Birdy and Clementine - have bright ceramics and porcelain jewellery. It is designed and handcrafted in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.

Winnifreds daughter - make Australian made Illustration and artisan wearable art - some great designs here.

Yippy Whippy - is the pseudonym of Australian-based designer and illustrator, Nicole Casella. They make jewellery and apparel range and their range is a fun one. Everything is designed by Nicole in her studio in Brisbane.

Ra Ra Superstar - have quirky designs and vintage goods.

Corner Block Studio - make home decor. They are a creative studio who make handmade goods. They also take into account the environment, and they make things such as adjustable frames for wall art and general home decor.

Holland Eve - they are a Brisbane-based label who turn the old into something new. Their products end up in as high-end accessories and homewares.

Fringe & Bow - make modern handmade knits for you and your family.

OXLADE & HEART - sell one-of-a-kind handcrafted handbags, which they create from materials sourced from around the globe.

Little Deer Studio - make unique, recycled, eco-friendly, beautiful notebooks and journals. These are sure to inspire you to write and create. They are handmade in Brisbane.

Wow- all these stall holders and still no pigs! But who would even need a pig with so much choice of goods to buy. And with such great names as many of these!

Queensland's best visual arts institution, the Queensland Art Gallery - Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), connects people and art through a powerful program of Australian and international exhibitions which showcase works from a varied range of historical and modern artists.

Do keep this date free as there are such a lot of designer stalls that you can browse around and possibly find something you really must have!
