Chelsea Piers Sports and Entertainment Complex , located between 27th and 23rd Streets in Manhattan (on the Hudson River, to be exact) may just be described as a 28-acre "playground" for adults and children. There are honest-to-goodness indoor playgrounds for toddlers and children, and places to participate in other sports such as basketball, ice skating and ice hockey, bowling, and even golf. You even have three food establishments to choose from after all that exercise and play has helped you work up an appetite.

As mentioned earlier, golf is just one of the activities available at the Chelsea Piers, and what a set-up it is! First, you have the fact that the Golf Club, which is open to the public, but memberships are available, has the only year-round outdoor driving range. So, how can the outdoor driving range be open year-round? That's simple; the 52 hitting stalls that are available on the four levels of the Golf Club are heated and protected from the weather.
